Make a Difference

Join us as a volunteer and support young people in their tabletop gaming journey! As a Guild of Gaming volunteer, you can:

  • Mentor younger members in learning new games.

  • Help with setting up and running gaming nights.

  • Support club operations, such as organising events and maintaining resources.

Earn DofE Skills Hours

Tabletop gaming offers a unique way to develop critical skills while having fun. Whether it’s strategy, creativity, or problem-solving, our club provides:

  • Game Mastery: Learn and master games like Warhammer and Dungeons & Dragons.

  • Hobby Skills: Explore painting, model-building, and terrain crafting.

  • Leadership Development: Take the lead in organising and running gaming sessions.

These activities meet the Duke of Edinburgh Skills Section requirements, helping young people build confidence and achieve personal goals while engaging in a fun, social hobby. Not only that, they also give you a chance to make a lasting impact in your community.

Why choose Guild of Gaming for your DofE?

Guild of Gaming offers a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone, including young people with neurodiversity, care-experienced individuals, and those tackling social isolation. Through our club, DofE participants can:

  • Gain valuable life skills while pursuing a hobby they love.

  • Build social connections in a safe and supportive setting.
