Our Funding & Partners
Guild of Gaming would still be a dream in a notebook if not for our amazing funders giving us the resources to create a community space focused on creating memories and connections.
National Lottery Community Fund
GUILD OF GAMING is proudly funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, which enables us to offer free membership and provide essential resources to our members. This funding allows us to cover the costs of our venue at Noblehill Community Centre, purchase gaming equipment, and maintain a fully stocked hobby table with communal paints, brushes, and tools. This helps ensure that GUILD OF GAMING is accessible to everyone, helping us tackle social isolation and promote mental well-being across the community. We are deeply grateful to the National Lottery players for making this possible, and we’re committed to using these funds to foster a positive, supportive gaming environment for all.

Gamemat.eu
We are also thrilled to be sponsored by Gamemat.eu, who have generously supported us with a significant discount on high-quality gaming mats and pre-painted resin terrain. Thanks to their support, we’ve been able to create an immersive gaming experience for our members. As an added bonus, Gamemat.eu offers a 10% discount to all GUILD OF GAMING members! Ask one of our volunteers for the exclusive code to take advantage of this fantastic offer.

Youth Scotland
GUILD OF GAMING is a proud member of Youth Scotland, the national charity for supporting and delivering youth work in the community. With Youth Scotland, we are fully insured for public liability.
Through Youth Scotland, we will soon be delivering Hi5 Awards, Dynamic Youth Awards, Youth Achievement Awards. These are national SQA-accredited qualifications recognising young members' personal development through their hobby. They range from SCQF 2 to SCQF 7 — equivalent of Nat 2 to Advance Higher. Some of these awards even accrue UCAS tariff points for applying to university.

Disclosure Scotland
All regular adult volunteers are members of Disclosure Scotland's Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme for work with children.

Holywood Trust
Guild of Gaming Dumfries is honoured to be funded by the Holywood Trust, whose generous support empowers us to deliver high-quality gaming facilities, community events, and youth outreach programmes. Through this partnership, we are able to provide a safe and inclusive space where people of all backgrounds can share in the joy of gaming, develop skills, and build friendships. The Holywood Trust’s commitment to local development helps us maintain our equipment and expand our offerings, ensuring Guild of Gaming remains a vital hub for creativity, learning, and fun in Dumfries.
Dumfries and Galloway Regional Community Fund
Guild of Gaming Dumfries is proud to be supported by the Dumfries & Galloway Regional Community Fund, whose investment underpins our mission to enrich local lives through gaming. Their backing enables us to offer a welcoming space where people from across the region—youths, families, and gamers of all experience levels—can come together to connect, create, and play. Thanks to the Fund’s dedication to strengthening community ties, we’re able to run workshops, local tournaments, and open sessions that are accessible and inclusive. This ensures that Guild of Gaming isn’t just a venue—it’s a catalyst for positive change, bringing neighbours together and helping nurture a sense of belonging throughout Dumfries & Galloway.
